I've been fortunate to work with Muslim communities in Michigan and New York City and am passionate about providing public library services to all people. Since my background is in Middle Eastern studies, I have concentrated on how I can help people better understand Muslim communities.
I've presented poster sessions at NYLA 2010 and at ALA Annual 2011 on serving Muslims.

I do not excel at self-promotion nor do I have much time for maintaining a blog or my own website but I am finding that it's become unavoidable. So here it goes...here's my website.
